V&E
Rigoli Mechanical Repairs, as we are formally known, began
in 1993, as Vince & Ezia Rigoli trading as V&E Rigoli
Mechanical Repairs based at Smithfield. In 1997 we moved
to a bigger premises at Wetherill Park. Vince Rigoli has
always had a special talent and interest in cars and also
the need for speed.
Vince
started his drag racing career with a little orange Datsun
sedan in 1987, which was running 12secs.
Upon
opening the business, saw the birth of the little black
ute, used as a parts pickup vehicle during the week and
then as a race car at the track on the weekend.
The
little Black ute began in the 12sec bracket, then 11sec,
then 10, then 9sec which saw Vince as the Fastest 4 cylinder,
street registered in 1998 and then as you guessed it, the
need for speed prevails, Congratulations to Vince Rigoli
who ran an 8.78sec pass@154mph at calder Park Raceway on
9/12/2000 and setting the new Fastest 4 Cylinder record
for Australia.(fastest time since 8.52secs @ 158 mph 4-7-2002)
Along
with the mechanical side of V&E Rigoli, the racing and
conversions side of the business has seen a dramatic increase,
which gave rise to V&E Rigoli Racing which has seen us
diversify into other aspects of racing including:
